Union activities
The student union's activities are led by the union board. The student union has three sections and two committees. The Student Social Affairs Committee and the Labor Market Group Compass, as well as the Civil Section, the Doctoral Student Section and the HOP Section
Sections of the union
Civilian Section
The civilian section brings together students from the Swedish Defense University's civilian courses and is led by the head of the civilian section. The civilian section appoints the student representatives the student union has the right to oversee in the University's subject council and program council. The civilian section is also responsible for the appointment of representatives to the universities assessment groups for the institution's civilian courses
HOP-section
The HOP section brings together participants in the Higher Officer Program (HOP) at the Swedish Defense University and works with student influence at HOP. The HOP section is closely connected with HOP's existing trust organization, and enables student influence within the framework of the student union's work.
PhD Section
The doctoral section gathers students at the Swedish Defense University's doctoral program (PhD) and is led by the head of the doctoral section. The doctoral section is responsible for study supervision for the doctoral education and for social community between the University of Defense's doctoral students.
