The board of the Student union 2026/2027
The student union is led by the union board. The union board coordinates the activities of the sections and committees and is appointed by the members at the annual general meeting.

Union President
Erik Westergren
The president of the student union leads the work of the union board, is responsible for strategic study monitoring, and represents the student union and the students of the University internally and externally. The president is also responsible for questions regarding equal treatment.
Vice President & Head of the Study Social Committee
Sofia Backström
The Vice President of the Student Union acts as deputy for the President.
The Head of the Study Social Committee is responsible for social activities at the school and leads the work of the committee. The Head of the Study Social Council works primarily in an administrative and strategic capacity with planning, coordination, and budgeting.
Treasurer
Kajsa Lindqvist
The Student Union's Treasurer is responsible, together with the board, for the student union's finances, and is responsible for ensuring that, among other things, the student union's bookkeeping is carried out on an ongoing and accurate basis.
Head of the Labour Market Group Kompass
Elsa Elisson
The head of the Labor Market Group Kompass is responsible for the management of Kompass, and coordinates the student union's labor market activities.
Head of Communications & Vice Head of the Study Social Committee
Melker Linde
The Head of Communications is responsible for the student union's external communication with members and students at the Swedish Defence University.
The Vice Head of the Study Social Committee supports the work of the original head of the committee and acts as their deputy.
Secretary and Membership coordinator
Samuel Ingerö Alias
The secretary is responsible for keeping minutes of the union board's meetings and for the governing documents. The membership coordinater is responsible for ensuring that the student union's member management.
Head of the Civilian Section
Linus Flyborg
The student union's civilian section is responsible for the student union's operational study monitoring
Head of the Marshal's Office
Timothy Brander Lie
The Head of the Traditions Group, also known as the Marshal's Office, is responsible for preserving and developing the union's traditions.
Head of the PhD Section
The section head for the doctoral section is responsible, together with the President, for the student union's study supervision at the
Swedish Defense University's postgraduate program.
Head of the Higher Officers Program Section
The section representative for HOP is part of the Higher Officer Program's trust organization and represents HOP students within the student union.
