Frequently asked questions
Start by ensuring that you have entered the same social security number (personnummer) and the same email address to SSSB as to us.
If you have provided the same information to us as to SSSB, but SSSB still does not see your membership, you can contact medlem.karen@fhs.se

In most cases, it usually works to make the payment if you try again at a different time or through a different device.
If, despite this, it still does not work, you are welcome to get in touch with medlem.karen@fhs.se
To become a member of the student union you must be a student at the Swedish Defence University
However, you can accumulate up to 90 queue days without being an active student.
Anyone who wishes to support the unions' activities without being a student can become a supporting member. However, a support membership is not enough to stand in SSSB's queue.
The Swedish Defence University Student Union offers two types of membership: Ordinary Membership and Supporting Membership.
Membership is regulated in detail by the statutes of the Swedish Defence University Student Union, which apply to all members. An ordinary member is a student at the Swedish Defence University who has paid the membership fee as determined by the General Assembly. Membership is considered invalid if the member is not also a student at the Swedish Defence University.
A student is defined as someone who can present a valid certificate of registration at the Swedish Defence University, or an equivalent document proving their eligibility. To access the benefits of ordinary membership (such as Mecenat and the SSSB housing queue), you must be registered as a student at the Swedish Defence University—being admitted is not sufficient.
A supporting member is someone who is not a student at the Swedish Defence University but wishes to support the Student Union's activities by paying the supporting membership fee as decided by the General Assembly. As a supporting member, you contribute to supporting the activities of the Swedish Defence University Student Union but do not receive any of the membership benefits available to ordinary members.
